ICs, PV, and Emerging Markets: The Challenges for European Manufacturing
SEMI is the global industry association serving the manufacturing supply chains for the microelectronic, display and photovoltaic industries. Since 1970, SEMI has been committed to helping members grow more profitably, create new markets and meet common industry challenges. SEMI Europe (244 members in over 21 countries) decided in 2009 to open a new permanent office in Grenoble in the premises of the MINATEC Innovation Campus, a key place for micro-nanotechnologies in Europe.
In the frame of MINATEC Crossroads’10 week of events, SEMI Europe will jointly organize with Silicon Saxony a workshop bringing together key actors from the microelectronics business: public authorities, industrials, researchers and educational programs leaders.
The workshop will target IC, PV and emerging markets as challenges for European Manufacturing, with 3 consecutive panel sessions to provide various insights from Device makers, Equipment & Materials suppliers and Service providers (including R&D laboratories).
