Minatec’s inauguration

Only a few places in the world have the technological and industrial assets to rise to the challenge of extreme miniaturization. Minatec® is clearly one of them. With a large number of scientists and a powerful nanoelectronic sector, Minatec stands out in the race for micro-nanotechnology innovation.

Friday 2nd June 2006, André Vallini, Chairman of the Isère county council, will inaugurate MINATEC with Alain Bugat, Director General of the CEA (public technological research organisation) and Paul Jacquet, Chairman of the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble (INPG) (European technological university).


Proceedings:
from 9.15 to 10 a.m.: Press reception at the MINATEC entrance, Square Louis Néel in Grenoble
10 a.m.: Limited inaugural visit in the presence of journalists
11.45 a.m.: Unveiling of an inaugural plaque and speeches
12.30 p.m.: honorary aperitif.
